Anne-Marie Harris has been an impact investor for nearly 15 years in the UK and latterly in emerging markets and is passionate about the role that private and philanthropic capital can play to deliver positive societal change. She spent 10 years at Bridges Fund Management, where she was a partner in the Sustainable Growth Funds and led a number of Bridges’ pioneering deals across the 4 thematic areas delivering social and environmental outcomes. She led MBOs/MBIs and growth capital transactions and started two companies from scratch.
She is now the COO/CFO of the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment, which works to catalyse impact investment and entrepreneurship to benefit people and planet. She also joined CDC Group’s Investment Committee (Catalyst strategy) at the beginning of 2019; and sits on the Investment Committee for Palladium’s newly launched Impact Fund. Anne-Marie also currently serves as Treasurer of Theatre for a Change UK whose goal is the empowerment of marginalised women and girls primarily in Africa.
