Yasemin serves as Deputy CIO for Catalyst Strategies at CDC, the UK’s development finance institution. She is responsible for a portfolio aimed at shaping new markets for systemic change at scale, across Africa and South Asia. Prior to CDC, she spent three years at Omidyar Network, a technology-driven philanthropic investment fund. Before, she worked over 11 years at J.P. Morgan. She has published widely and provided expert advice to the OECD, World Economic Forum and others. She holds a Masters in Financial Mathematics from King’s College, London and a Bachelor in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
